How does it work?

EF Class can be used in a number of ways. If students have devices in class, teachers can send activities directly to them during the lesson (Connected or Hybrid modes). Otherwise, teachers can present EF Class lessons to the whole class using a projector or screen-mirroring (Presentation mode). In addition, any teacher can send students assignments to complete outside of the lesson.

Requirements for teachers in the Presentation mode are that you must: 

  1. Create a free EF Class teacher account
  2. Have access to a laptop or iPad during lessons
  3. Have access to a projector or screen-mirroring
  4. Have stable Wi-Fi in the classroom

 

Requirements for teachers in the Connected mode are that you must: 

  1. Create a free EF Class teacher account
  2. Have access to a laptop or iPad for yourself during lessons
  3. Have stable Wi-Fi in the classroom
  4. Ensure each student has access to a laptop or iPad during lessons 

 

Requirements for teachers in the Hybrid mode are that you must: 

  1. Create a free EF Class teacher account
  2. Have access to a laptop or iPad for yourself during lessons
  3. Have access to a projector or screen-mirroring
  4. Have stable Wi-Fi in the classroom
  5. Ensure each student has access to a laptop or iPad during lessons
