Reviewing student responses (lesson)

Key point:
- Student responses can be accessed in Connected mode only. 

EF Class allows you to view student responses during an active lesson, in real time. This is a great way to see how the class is progressing as a whole (see Detail and Overview modes below), as well as to dig into individual student responses (‘Individual’ mode).

Detail  

This is the default mode for student responses. Detail mode is designed to show you:

  • The lesson segment name and activity type 
  • An overview of how your students are progressing through the lesson
  • The number of responses and score achieved per student / per activity 
  • The overall number of responses and score per student 

Steps (when in an active lesson):

  1. Click ‘View student responses’.
  2. Scroll vertically and horizontally as necessary, to see the responses per student / per activity.

 

Overview

This mode is designed to give you a quicker, but less-detailed visual reference of how the class is progressing in aggregate. 'Overview' mode is designed to show you:

  • A simple Red / Amber / Green indicator of scores per activity / per student  

Steps (when in an active lesson):

  1. Click ‘View student responses’.
  2. Click ‘Overview’ in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Individual

This mode is designed to let you see individual students’ responses to specific activities. 

Steps (when in an active lesson):

  1. Click ‘View student responses’.
  2. Click the appropriate ‘View student response’ tile for the student and activity in question.
