Experiencing technical issues and getting in touch

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with EF Class, you can get in touch with us on class@ef.com and we'll take a look at this ASAP.

Before you get in touch, please ensure that you give as much information as you possibly can.

  • Are you having trouble with the App version on iPad, or the Web version on desktop?

iPad

If you are using iPad please provide the support team with the following information:

  1. The type of device you are using
  2. Time and date the issue started or last occurred
  3. Clarify whether the problem occurs in the student or teacher app
  4. Send a screenshot of what you are seeing

Please try the following steps:

  1. Log out of the app and log back in 
  2. Force the app to close and reopen it
  3. Ensure your app is up-to-date (if not, please delete the current EF Class app and download the latest one from the AppStore)

If the problem does not resolve itself please get in touch with the information outlined above and also let the support staff know that you've tried the above steps.

 

Web

If you are using the Web version of EF Class please provide the support team with the following information:

  1. The type of device you are using
  2. The web browser you are using and the version of that browser
  3. Time and date the issue started or last occurred
  4. Clarify whether the problem occurs in the student or teacher app
  5. Send a screenshot of what you are seeing

Please try the following steps:

  1. Hard refresh the page (Control+Shift+R)
  2. Log out and back in
  3. Close the browser completely and open it again
  4. Clear your cache
  5. Try another web browser. Does the same problem occur?

If the problem does not resolve itself please get in touch with the information outlined above and also let the support staff know that you've tried the above steps.
