Viewing student responses

EF Class allows you to view student responses during an active lesson, in real-time. This is a great way to see how the class is progressing during the lesson.

(Note: Student responses can be accessed in Connected lessons only).

Simply click the 'View student responses' button in the top left of the screen during an active lesson to access this feature.

There are two types of view you can access within the Student responses - the Detail view, and the Overview

Detail view

This is the default mode for student responses. The detail view is designed to show you:

  • The lesson segment name and activity type
  • An overview of how your students are progressing through the lesson
  • The number of responses and score achieved per student / per activity
  • The overall number of responses and score per student

Steps (when in an active lesson):

  1. Click ‘View student responses’.

Scroll vertically and horizontally as necessary, to see the responses per student / per activity.

Overview

The overview mode is designed to give you a quicker, but less-detailed visual reference of how the class is progressing in aggregate. 'Overview' mode shows a simple Red / Amber / Green indicator of scores per activity / per student.

Steps (when in an active lesson):

  1. Click ‘View student responses’.
  2. Click ‘Overview’ in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
